Jimmy's Egg started in Oklahoma City in 1980 and remains one of the state's stronger breakfast institutions. The Moore location on 19th Street serves the chain's standard menu of skillets, omelets, pancakes, and biscuits and gravy, all in generous portions at modest prices.
It opens at 6 a.m. and closes mid-afternoon. The atmosphere is loud, fast, and unmistakably Oklahoman — a good place to read the local paper over coffee and an over-easy plate.
