A small local history museum housed in a former schoolhouse in Old Town, covering the settlement of the Siuslaw River valley — the homesteaders, the logging operations, and the fishing economy that defined this stretch of coast before the tourist era. The collection includes photos, tools, and household items from the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries. It is modestly sized but well organised, and the volunteers who run it tend to know the local history in considerable depth.
