South Kingstown Town Beach is a public beach at Matunuck, west of the busier Point Judith and Galilee beaches. It has the practical things families need for a day on the sand: restrooms, picnic tables, a playground, and room for volleyball.
It is best treated as a quieter South County beach stop rather than a landmark. Parking fees apply in season, and the beach works well if you are already exploring the Matunuck shore or want a less built-up alternative to central Narragansett.
