Succotash Marsh Management Area protects 145 acres of salt marsh north of East Matunuck Beach. Boardwalks and nature trails give access to cattail marsh, open water, and hardwood edges where herons, egrets, ducks, hawks, turtles, and frogs are common.
It is a quiet nature stop near Narragansett's busier beaches, especially worthwhile for birdwatching or a short walk before heading to the coast.
