Sioux Falls has a better restaurant scene than you might expect. Good steakhouses reflect the region's cattle-ranching identity, but the city's recent growth has brought Vietnamese, Mexican, and Ethiopian restaurants, plus a handful of ambitious farm-to-table spots. Most of the action is along Phillips Avenue downtown and in the emerging East Bank neighbourhood near the falls.
