Rob Fleming Park

A community park in the northern Woodlands with a spring-fed lake, walking trails, a disc golf course, and picnic areas. It's popular with residents for evening walks and weekend family outings. The trail system winds through pine forest and is one of the better places in the area for a quiet hour outdoors.

The lake has a small fishing pier and paddleboat rentals on weekends in season. Nothing fancy, but a good antidote to the shopping and restaurant strip if you need to move your legs.

A story
The park is built around a natural spring-fed lake, which is unusual for this flat, pine-forested part of Texas. Early mornings bring out herons, egrets, and the occasional kingfisher along the water's edge.
