A German-inspired butcher-bar in Scott's Addition with an excellent selection of house-cured meats, a short but well-chosen beer list, and a dinner menu built around charcuterie, schnitzel, and seasonal vegetables. The atmosphere is dark and convivial — long communal tables, exposed brick, candlelight — and the kitchen takes the Germanic tradition seriously without being precious about it. One of the most enjoyable evenings out in the district.
