Harborside Fountain Park

A small piece of waterfront landscape architecture between the Bremerton ferry terminal and the boardwalk, with five copper-clad cones rising out of a shallow pool — jets of water shoot up and over them in a constantly changing sequence. On a summer afternoon the place fills with kids running through the spray; the rest of the year it is a quiet spot to wait for the ferry.

The park frames the start of the Bremerton Boardwalk, which runs north past the marina to the USS Turner Joy. Both ends are within five minutes of the ferry terminal, which makes the whole stretch perfect for killing an hour between sailings.
