Finch Arboretum is Spokane's main public tree collection, with about 2,000 trees and shrubs arranged across a quiet valley west of downtown. The collection includes conifers, maples, rhododendrons, and dozens of lilac groups.
It is best as a slow walk rather than a checklist attraction, especially in spring bloom or autumn colour. Trails run through the grounds, and the open lawns make it an easy break from the city.
