Fayetteville is a small town but the rafting and climbing economy keeps a few decent bars open all season. Most close earlier on weeknights and outside summer. Freefolk Brewery out on Route 16 brews on site (the saisons and IPAs are notably good) and runs a taproom with food trucks. The Station, in a converted gas station downtown, is a reliable late-night spot for cocktails and shared plates.
In winter, the social centre of town effectively becomes the Cathedral Café and the bars inside Secret Sandwich Society and Pies & Pints, which all stay open year-round.
