Blennerhassett Museum of Regional History

Regional history museum covering the Ohio Valley and Burr conspiracy

The mainland companion to the island park, this museum on Juliana Street covers the full sweep of the upper Ohio Valley's history, from its Indigenous peoples through the era of frontier settlement to the industrial age. The Burr-Blennerhassett conspiracy gets its own thorough treatment, with artefacts recovered from the island and documents from the period. A good place to start before taking the ferry, or to continue the story afterwards.
