The small riverfront park at the foot of 2nd Street where the Little Kanawha joins the Ohio, and the launching point for the sternwheeler to Blennerhassett Island. A floodwall murals project along the levee maps out the city's history in two dozen large panels, from prehistoric mound-builders through the oil boom and the steamboat era to the present.
The riverside walking and cycling path runs north from here for several kilometres along the Ohio — a quiet place to stretch your legs before or after the boat to the island, and the best vantage point on the city's working river.
