Off the Wall is the beach bar at Cane Bay, sitting right on the sand between the road and the shore. It serves the dive crowd — Cane Bay is St. Croix's most popular shore diving spot — and the atmosphere in the afternoon, when the boats are back and everyone has peeled off their wetsuits, is relaxed and genuinely festive. Cold Presidente beer, rum punches, and decent bar food; the fish tacos and conch fritters are the right call.
The bar doubles as a social hub for the north shore expat and dive community, which means the conversation is often more interesting than you'd expect from a beach bar. Live music some evenings, particularly on weekends. If you've driven across the island to dive Cane Bay, stay for the afternoon here — it's the natural ending to the day.
