The Paseo Inferior takes you down through a stretch of subtropical jungle to viewpoints at the base of several of the major cataracts. The 1.4-kilometre route descends 50 metres in switchback boardwalks before levelling off at the river. The payoff is a series of viewpoints that put you almost in the splash zone — particularly the platform looking up at Salto Bossetti.
Coatis are common on this circuit, and they have learned to mob anyone visibly carrying food. Keep your snacks zipped away. The Lower Circuit is also the launch point for the Aventura Náutica speedboat rides that take you up under the falls themselves.
