A traditional café on the eastern side of Plaza 1° de Mayo, with marble tables, ceiling fans, and waiters in white shirts. The standard porteño café experience translated to a provincial scale — long mornings over coffee and medialunas, longer afternoons with a tostado mixto and the day's papers.
