Eating Out

Paraná's food culture is built around the river — sábalo, boga, surubí, and dorado pulled from the Paraná are the local speciality, usually grilled or baked al horno de barro. The parrilla tradition is strong, as everywhere in Argentina; pasta and pizza, the legacy of the Italian community, are reliable fallbacks. The best places are along the Costanera and clustered near the centre.
