Ermida Dom Bosco sits on a quiet point on Lake Paranoa, far from the monumental axis but very much part of Brasilia's founding mythology. The small pyramid-like chapel honours Saint John Bosco, whose dream of a future inland capital became one of the stories Brazilians attached to the new city.
Come for the lake as much as the chapel. The park around it is one of Brasilia's better sunset spots, with open lawns, water views, and a calmer mood than the central civic monuments.
