Pucón's centre is easily walkable — most restaurants, tour agencies, and the main beach are within ten minutes on foot. For the outlying attractions, options depend on how far you are going.
Local buses run from the centre to Lago Caburgua and Ojos del Caburgua, and to the entrance of Huerquehue National Park. Shared taxis (colectivos) supplement the buses on popular routes. For hot springs south of town, a taxi or rental car is the most practical option.
Bicycles can be rented from several shops on Avenida O'Higgins — a good option for the lakes and the flatter routes around town. Most tour agencies offer transfers to the main attractions bundled with their activity packages, which is often the simplest arrangement for volcano trips or park visits.
