Pucón has a surprisingly good restaurant scene for a small adventure town. The cooking tends toward hearty Chilean comfort food — cazuela, empanadas, and grilled meats — alongside better-than-expected international options aimed at the traveller crowd. Avenida O'Higgins and the streets behind it are where most of the action is concentrated.
