Alfonso Bonilla Aragón International Airport (CLO), known locally as Palmaseca, sits about 20 km north-east of the city and handles flights from Bogotá, Medellín, Cartagena and a growing list of US and Latin American destinations. Frequent shared minibuses and taxis run into town. By road, Cali is roughly 10 hours from Bogotá, 10 to 12 from Medellín, 3 from Popayán and 9 from San Agustín; the long-distance bus terminal is north of the centre and well-organised.
