A small late-baroque church near Plaza de Nariño, completed in the late 18th century and notable for its painted timber ceilings and a richly carved gilded high altar. The Mercedarian order arrived in Pasto in the early colonial period and built a series of churches and convents across the centre.
Look up at the ceilings — the painted floral panels are the best of their kind in Pasto.
