Puente San Francisco spans the Pastaza gorge just north of central Baños, giving a quick blast of mountain-river drama without leaving town. The bridge is best known as one of the local bungee-jumping spots.
Even if you are not jumping, it is worth a short walk for the view down into the gorge. Baños has bigger excursions, but this one captures the town's taste for easy-access adrenaline.
