Baakaboto paddles the Petit-Saut lake, the reservoir behind the dam on the Sinnamary, where the forest was flooded in 1994 and the dead trees still stand out of the water. It is an eerie place and a good one for wildlife: howler monkeys on the islands, and birds along the shore.
They hire boats and take people out with a guide.
