Museo Hospitalario is housed in the first small building on Filadelfia's hospital grounds, a two-room structure from 1932 that served as consulting room, procedure room, maternity ward, laboratory, and later an office. The displays include old photographs, furniture, and medical instruments brought from Germany.
The museum is named for Dr. Wilhelm Kaethler, one of the first Paraguay-born Mennonite doctors serving the colony and its Indigenous neighbours. It is a modest stop, but it adds a human side to Filadelfia's Mennonite history.
