Ruedas Pioneras

Ruedas Pioneras is an open-air museum about the hard logistics of early Mennonite settlement in the Paraguayan Chaco. Its wagons, rails, and transport exhibits recall the long route from Puerto Casado on the Paraguay River to the inland colonies around Filadelfia.

It is a modest stop, but it gives a useful sense of distance and effort before paved roads changed life in the Chaco.
