Most eating in Pisco happens around the Plaza de Armas, where simple cafes serve the usual Peruvian staples at low prices. The seafood is the thing to try — ceviche and fried fish are fresh and cheap, caught that morning from the Pacific. The pedestrian street off the plaza concentrates most of the better options. For a ceviche worth the trip in itself, try As de Oros or Restaurant Don Manuel, both near the centre.
