Isla Anatoly is the small forested island that sits in the middle of Canaima Lagoon, opposite the row of waterfalls. Boats land at a beach on the eastern side and a short climb leads to a viewpoint that takes in the full sweep of the falls — Salto Hacha, Salto Wadaima and the others all visible at once across the brown water.
It is the standard photo stop on any half-day boat tour of the lagoon. The island also has a small Pemón handicraft stall — beadwork, woven baskets, the wooden curiara models — which is one of the few places to buy locally made souvenirs without leaving Canaima.
