Almost everything in Canaima is built around two things: the falls themselves and the tepuis. Most visits run on a fixed two- or three-day pattern — a flight in, a night at the lagoon, a long boat-and-walk day to Angel Falls, and back — but there is enough nearby to extend the trip if time and money allow. Excursions are arranged through the Pemón-run operators in Canaima village or pre-booked from Ciudad Bolívar.
