La Gran Sabana is built for adventure. The headline experience is the multi-day trek up Mount Roraima, but there is more than enough to fill a week without leaving the road: waterfalls, swimming holes, indigenous villages, and viewpoints over the tepuis. Most of what is worth seeing lies along the Troncal 10 highway between El Dorado and Santa Elena de Uairén, with side tracks reachable by 4x4 or on foot with a Pemón guide.
