Mirador El Morro looks back across the dry Isla El Morro peninsula to Puerto La Cruz, the Venezuelan mainland, and the islands of Mochima National Park. A Virgin Mary monument marks the viewpoint, but the real reason to come is the broad coastal view.
If you have time, continue toward the beach below the lookout or follow the peninsula trails by bike. Sunrise and sunset are the best hours.
