Temple of Dangbé

Small Vodun shrine to the python deity, often visited alongside the Python Temple

A smaller Vodun shrine a short walk from the better-known Python Temple, dedicated to Dangbé, the python divinity from which the larger compound takes its sacred snakes. Of interest mainly to those wanting a fuller picture of Ouidah's Vodun landscape: smaller, less polished, more locally used than the larger temple.

A guide from the Python Temple can usually take you here as a short extension of that visit; expect a small additional donation. Open daylight hours.
