Ngaoundéré's sights cluster in and around the centre: the Lamido's palace and its Friday court, the great mosque opposite, and a couple of viewpoints over the surrounding plateau. The town is small enough to walk in a morning, and the high-altitude air makes it pleasant to do so even in the hot season.
