Dahab's nightlife is relaxed and unpretentious. Most of the action happens at beachfront bars where you can nurse a cold Stella or a cocktail while watching the sun set over Saudi Arabia across the gulf. Shisha cafes are everywhere, and spending an evening on floor cushions with apple tobacco and Egyptian tea is practically mandatory.
A few spots turn up the volume later in the evening with live music or DJ sets, but this is not a clubbing destination. The vibe is more barefoot-on-the-sand than velvet-rope. Drinks are cheap by any standard, and most places along the promenade stay open well past midnight.
