The Garden is a gentle reef dive north of the Lighthouse, named for the extraordinary density and variety of its coral growth. While the Blue Hole and Canyon attract the drama-seekers, the Garden is where Dahab's dive centres send beginners and those who simply want to explore a beautiful reef at a comfortable pace. The coral formations here are among the healthiest in the area, with massive table corals, brain corals, and formations that host a concentrated community of reef fish.
The dive profile is shallow — rarely below 12 metres — which makes it ideal for beginner open water training and for snorkellers who want to go beyond the Lighthouse without tackling more demanding sites. The variety of hard and soft coral, the visibility, and the sheer density of fish life make the Garden one of the most rewarding easy dives in the entire Red Sea.
