Africa Pool is a natural rock pool in the coral reef near the end of Tiwi Beach. At low tide the reef flats open up and the pool becomes visible, giving you a photogenic place to wander, watch the water, and see a rougher side of the south coast away from the resort strip.
Timing matters here. Go at low tide, wear footwear that can handle sharp coral, and do not underestimate the sun or the incoming water. It is best treated as a quiet coastal walk rather than a swimming destination.
