Getting There

Errachidia sits on the N13, the main road south from Meknes and Fes to the Sahara. The drive from Fes takes about 6 hours and is one of the best in Morocco, crossing the Middle Atlas through cedar forest before dropping into the High Atlas via the Tizi-n-Talrhemt pass and the Ziz Valley.

CTM and Supratours buses run from Fes, Meknes, Marrakech, and Casablanca, with onward connections to Erfoud, Rissani, and Merzouga. The journey from Marrakech is long (10–12 hours) and goes via Ouarzazate. Shared grand taxis cover the same routes for slightly more money but at any time of day. The small airport, Moulay Ali Cherif (ERH), has occasional flights to Casablanca via Royal Air Maroc.
