Café-Restaurant Clock

Lively community café inside the medina with decent food and free wifi

Café Clock is the best-known international-friendly eating place inside the medina itself, famous partly for its camel burger (an old novelty, now a bit of a landmark) and partly for being a genuine community hub — it runs cultural programmes, calligraphy classes, music sessions, and serves as a meeting point for both expats and younger Moroccan residents. The food is a mix of Moroccan standards and international comfort food.

It occupies a tall riad building with seating on multiple levels and a rooftop with medina views. The vibe is relaxed; you can sit for hours over mint tea and use the wifi without being rushed. Worth knowing about as a rest stop during long medina days, even if the camel burger doesn't appeal. Located in Derb Magana, a few minutes from Bab Boujeloud.
