Place Talmoklate is the second of Taroudant's central squares, slightly smaller and quieter than Place Assarag but equally important as an orientation point. It sits near the main arched gateway into the old town and acts as a small transport hub — grand taxis and local buses gather on its edges, and bicycle rentals are available nearby.
The square has a handful of café terraces that are good for watching the town go about its morning business over coffee and msemen flatbread. It's a more local scene than the tourist-facing spots near the main hotel area, and prices reflect that.
