Thimphu's restaurant scene is modest but covers the basics. The Bhutan Kitchen (third floor, one block from the town square) is considered the best place for authentic Bhutanese cooking — buckwheat pancakes, pork stew, and ema datshi (chillies and cheese). Benez, a block north of the town square, is popular with NGO workers and locals; good momos and BBQ ribs. Seasons, near the traffic circle, serves pizza, reportedly the only place in town. Hotel Druk's Pine Bark restaurant offers Bhutanese, Indian, Chinese, and continental food.
