A relaxed bar in central Thimphu named after the Bhutanese equivalent of the yeti (the migoi, "mighty man", features in local folklore). The interior is low-key and the crowd is mostly local Bhutanese. Ara — the traditional grain spirit distilled from wheat, rice, or maize — is available here alongside the usual Bhutanese beers. A good alternative to the more expat-oriented bars if you prefer a quieter evening with a local character.
