A small social-enterprise cafe on the riverfront, Destiny serves a short menu of Khmer classics — fish amok, beef lok lak, fried rice with shrimp — alongside Western standards (pasta, burgers, breakfasts) and good coffee. Prices are reasonable, the air-conditioning is welcome in the dry-season heat, and a portion of profits goes to vocational training for at-risk women in the area.
The shaded outdoor terrace looks straight onto the Mekong promenade and the Kizuna Bridge, and is one of the most pleasant spots in town for a long drink at sunset.
