Kampong Cham's attractions cluster along the river and in the limestone hills just west of town. The main sights are Wat Nokor's enclosed twin temples, the contrasting Phnom Pros and Phnom Srei (Man Hill and Woman Hill) for views over the Mekong plain, and — in dry season only — the remarkable bamboo bridge across to Koh Paen. The town itself rewards an unhurried wander past French colonial shophouses along the riverfront.
