Run by an NGO that trains and employs deaf and disabled Cambodians, Smile is one of the better and more interesting kitchens in town. The menu runs to a long list of carefully prepared Khmer dishes — fresh spring rolls, fish amok, pork lok lak, mango salad — with most dishes around US$3 to US$5. The dining room is open-air and shaded.
Ordering is done with picture menus to make life easier for the deaf wait staff, and the experience is straightforward. Profits fund the training programme. Closed Sundays.
