The Mekong's most reliable travellers' bar in central Cambodia, Lazy Mekong Daze has been on the Kampong Cham riverfront under one owner or another since the mid-2000s. The menu is the usual short list of Cambodian standards and Western comfort dishes — pizza, pasta, burgers, fish amok, chicken curry — but the cold beer and Mekong view are the real reason to settle in.
The bar runs late by Kampong Cham standards (until 11 pm or so), and is the closest the town has to a traveller hangout. Pool table, reasonable wifi, occasional live music when a passing band turns up.
