Tianzhu Mountain rewards visitors who come prepared for serious terrain. The granite formations at altitude are among the most dramatic in Anhui, and the relative lack of crowds compared to Huang Shan gives the whole experience a quality that the Yellow Mountains cannot match on a busy summer weekend.
