Xiamen-Above-the-Clouds Observation Deck sits near the top of Building B of the Shimao Cross-Strait Plaza twin towers. From around 300 metres up, it gives a broad view over Xiamen Island, Gulangyu, the harbour, and the mainland skyline.
Go on a clear day if possible; haze can flatten the view quickly. It pairs naturally with a walk along the waterfront or a visit to nearby university and temple sights on Xiamen Island.
