Enshi rewards at least two days, and ideally three. The Grand Canyon is a full day on its own if you want to cover both the peak forest and the river sections; Tusi City is a couple of hours; the Sidu River Bridge is a detour but a spectacular one. The city itself, with its Tujia architecture and mountain setting, is worth an evening walk.
