Xiangshui Temple is an old Daoist temple in the Big Black Mountain area near Jinzhou. Its history reaches back to the Tang dynasty, though much of the present complex reflects Qing-era rebuilding.
The temple is built around a cavern, with water inside giving it the name "Water-sounds Temple". It is a worthwhile stop for travellers seeking one of Dalian's older religious sites outside the city centre.
