Confucius Museum

Large modern museum in Qufu explaining Confucius, his descendants, and ritual culture.

The Confucius Museum gives Qufu a modern interpretive centre to match its temples, mansion, and cemetery. Its exhibitions explain Confucius as philosopher, teacher, ancestor, and cultural symbol, using objects and displays that help visitors understand why this small city became so important.

It is especially useful before or after the Three Kong sites. The old compounds show ritual space and lineage power; the museum gives context for the ideas, family history, and later state reverence that made those compounds matter.
