A Tianjin institution in the Bar Street area of You Yi Lu, Broadies has been the go-to expat hangout for years. The outdoor terrace is enormous — in summer half the city seems to end up here. Inside there are pool tables, live music most nights, and drink specials. Food runs to the crowd-pleasing side: burgers, pizza, that sort of thing. It's not a sophisticated night out, but it's reliably fun and easy to meet people.
